SP2065SE crawler screening plant

When I look at a mobile screening project, I usually start with one simple question: what kind of material are you trying to separate?

It sounds basic, but it is one of the most important questions in the whole equipment selection process. Limestone, granite, basalt, manganese ore, construction waste, road base material and recycled aggregate can behave very differently on a screen. The feed size, moisture, required product sizes and hourly output all change the way a screening plant should be configured.

That is where the SP2065SE crawler screening plant gets interesting.

SP2065SE is an electric crawler screening plant designed for high-capacity mobile screening. The current Sunward PSR specification lists a 180–450 t/h processing capacity, a 36.7-ton total weight, a 150 mm maximum feeding size, and a three-deck 2000 × 6500 mm vibrating screen box. The machine has a 60 kW total working power and uses hydraulic travel control.

In practical terms, I see it as a machine for customers who already have crushed or suitably sized material and need to sort it into several useful fractions without building a permanent screening station.

That makes the SP2065SE crawler screening plant suitable for quarrying, mining, aggregate production, infrastructure work, recycling, road construction and other mobile material-processing jobs.

At Ganglong Heavy Industry Technology (Hefei) Co., Ltd., we work with construction machinery, mining machinery, agricultural machinery and matching attachments. Together with Hefei Ganglong International Trade Co., Ltd., we also support overseas customers with equipment supply and international trade services.

So when a customer asks me about an SP2065SE screening plant for sale, I do not only look at the machine itself. I look at the material, the production line, the site, the power source, the final product sizes and the delivery plan.

1. What Is the SP2065SE Crawler Screening Plant?

The SP2065SE is a mobile screening machine mounted on a crawler chassis. Its main job is to separate material according to size.

The material is fed into the hopper, carried by the feeding conveyor to the vibrating screen, and then separated through three screen decks. Different fractions leave the machine through separate conveyors and can be stockpiled individually.

The three-deck design is particularly useful when the customer needs several final products from one feed material.

For example, imagine a quarry producing several aggregate sizes. Instead of using a simple single-deck screen that separates material into only a few basic fractions, a three-deck screening plant gives the production line more room to create different size ranges.

The actual product sizes depend on the selected screen mesh and the material being processed. This is something I always explain before discussing a quotation. The machine does not magically create a fixed product size just because it has three decks. The screen openings, feed grading, moisture and operating conditions all affect the result.

The official SP2065SE specification lists a 2000 × 6500 mm screen size. With three decks, the machine has a large screening surface for mobile equipment of this type. Sunward describes the machine as suitable for final product screening after crushing, independent screening and integrated mobile crushing and screening lines.

The numbers give us a useful starting point, but they should not be read in isolation.

For example, 180–450 t/h is the published processing range. Actual production can change according to material type, feed grading, moisture, screen media, separation requirements and how evenly material is fed into the machine.

That is normal for screening equipment.

2. How Does an SP2065SE Screening Plant Work?

The working process is straightforward.

First, material is loaded into the 3 m³ hopper. The feeding conveyor then moves the material toward the vibrating screen box.

The feed size should stay within the machine's listed 150 mm maximum feeding size. If the raw material is much larger, an upstream crushing process is normally required before the screening stage.

Once the material reaches the screen, vibration spreads and moves it across the screening surface.

Small particles pass through the openings in the first screen deck. Larger particles continue forward. The material that does not pass through the first deck moves toward the next deck, where another size separation takes place.

Because SP2065SE has three decks, the screening process can separate material into several fractions.

This is especially useful for aggregate producers.

Let's say a customer wants coarse aggregate, medium aggregate, smaller material and fines. The exact screen arrangement can be designed around the required product sizes. The final setup depends on the actual project rather than simply selecting a standard screen size.

Why Is a Large Screen Important?

The SP2065SE uses a 2000 × 6500 mm screen box. That gives the material a large surface over which to move and separate.

A screening plant needs enough room for the material to spread. If too much material is pushed through a screen that is too small, the particles can cover one another and reduce separation quality.

That is why I normally look at three things together:

Feed rate + screen area + required separation.

None of these should be considered separately.

The SP2065SE's combination of a three-deck screen and 2000 × 6500 mm screen size makes it suitable for high-capacity aggregate classification. Sunward lists quarrying, mining, infrastructure, recycling and aggregate production among its application areas.

Three Decks Mean More Product Options

A three-deck screening plant is useful when a customer needs more than one final product.

The top deck handles the larger material. The middle deck handles another size range. The bottom deck handles finer material.

Depending on the selected screen openings, the machine can create several useful fractions from the same feed.

This is one reason why the SP2065SE crawler screening plant can be used as part of a complete mobile crushing and screening line.

A crusher reduces the material size. The screening plant then sorts the crushed material.

In a well-designed line, these two machines work together instead of fighting each other.

3. Main Features of the SP2065SE Crawler Screening Plant

3.1 High-Capacity Screening

The official processing capacity of the SP2065SE is 180–450 t/h.

That gives the machine enough capacity for many medium and large aggregate screening projects.

However, I would not tell a customer that 450 t/h is guaranteed under every condition.

If the feed is dry, well graded and easy to screen, the machine can work under conditions closer to the upper part of its rated range. If the material contains high moisture, sticky clay or difficult particle shapes, actual screening performance can be lower.

That is why a good equipment supplier should ask about the material before making a final recommendation.

3.2 Large 2000 × 6500 mm Screen Box

The screen box is one of the main features of this model.

At 2000 × 6500 mm, it provides a large working surface while remaining mobile. The machine is therefore able to combine a relatively compact transport concept with a large screening area.

For aggregate producers, this is useful because the screen is where the actual separation happens.

A strong feeding system can move material quickly, but if the screen cannot process that flow, the whole line becomes unbalanced.

3.3 Three-Deck Screening

The three-deck configuration gives customers more control over final aggregate grading.

This is useful for:

  • Crushed stone classification

  • Road base material

  • Construction aggregate

  • Mining material separation

  • Recycled aggregate

  • Infrastructure material production

For customers who need only one or two fractions, a smaller screening model may be enough. But if the project needs several product sizes, three decks can save space and reduce the need for several separate screening stages.

3.4 Crawler-Mounted Mobility

The SP2065SE is mounted on a crawler chassis, so it can move around the jobsite under its own travel system.

The official specification lists hydraulic travel control and a maximum climbing angle of 20°.

This is useful when the screening position needs to change as the project develops.

Think about a quarry or road construction project. The material source and stockpile locations may not remain in exactly the same place for months or years.

A mobile screening plant can be moved closer to the working area instead of building a permanent screening structure for every temporary production location.

3.5 Electric Drive

SP2065SE is listed as an electric crawler screening plant with a total working power of 60 kW.

Electric operation can be useful for projects that already have a suitable power supply.

There is another interesting point here: Sunward's current product information describes a universal chassis concept that can be matched with external electric power or a diesel-electric power system according to project requirements.

That gives project planners more room to think about the power arrangement rather than treating every jobsite in exactly the same way.

3.6 Intelligent Control

The SP2065SE is equipped with an intelligent electrical control system. Sunward lists functions including self-diagnosis, automatic alarms, remote control and soft-start operation.

In everyday language, the purpose is simple: make the machine easier to operate and easier to monitor.

A soft starter can help reduce the sudden electrical load during startup. Automatic alarms can help operators notice abnormal conditions. Remote control can make operation more convenient in certain working environments.

These features do not replace an experienced operator, but they can make the operator's job easier.

3.7 Load-Sensing Hydraulic Control

The machine also uses load-sensing hydraulic control.

This system adjusts hydraulic flow according to demand. The basic idea is to avoid wasting hydraulic power when the machine does not need it.

For a screening plant that may operate for long hours, this kind of energy management can be useful.

It is one of those features that may not look exciting in a product photo, but it matters during daily operation.

3.8 Maintenance-Friendly Design

Maintenance is often where the real difference between a machine that looks good on paper and a machine that works well for years becomes visible.

Sunward lists centralized lubrication, hydraulic folding for transportation and convenient maintenance access among the SP2065SE features.

Regular inspection should include screen media, conveyors, bearings, hydraulic components, bolts, wear parts and electrical connections.

I always recommend customers make a maintenance schedule before the machine arrives rather than waiting for the first problem.

4. SP2065SE Compared With Other Mobile Screening Plants

When a customer asks me whether SP2065SE is suitable, I normally compare it with machines in the same product family.

This gives us a much clearer picture than simply saying the machine is “high performance.”

Source: Sunward PSR official product specifications for SP2065SE, SP1560SE and SP1860SE.

Looking at the numbers, SP2065SE has the largest listed screen size of these three models and the highest listed upper processing capacity. SP1560SE is a smaller option, while SP1860SE sits between the two in several dimensions.

This does not mean SP2065SE is automatically the right machine for every project.

If a customer needs 120 t/h, for example, buying a larger machine may not make practical sense. If the customer needs several aggregate sizes at 400 t/h, however, the larger screen area of SP2065SE becomes much more relevant.

SP2065SE and Power Planning

Electric screening equipment also needs a suitable power source.

Sunward's official generator information lists a recommended generator configuration of at least 400 kW for a production line using SP127JE together with SP1560SE or SP2065SE. For larger combined lines, the recommended generator power increases.

This is important because the power requirement of a complete crushing and screening line is not simply the power of the screen itself.

The crusher, conveyors, screen and other equipment all need to be considered.

5. Where Can I Use SP2065SE?

Quarrying and Aggregate Production

Quarrying is one of the clearest applications for the SP2065SE.

After primary and secondary crushing, the material still contains different particle sizes. The screening plant separates these fractions so they can be sold or used for different construction purposes.

With three decks, SP2065SE can support multi-size aggregate production from one screening stage.

This is useful for producers who need several products rather than only one coarse fraction.

Mining

Mining material can require careful classification before the next production stage.

The SP2065SE has already been listed by Sunward in mining-related applications, and the company's published project cases include a South African manganese ore project using SP127JE + SP300CE + SP2065SE. The published project capacity was 200 t/h, with final product sizes of 0–4 mm, 4–8 mm, 8–32 mm and above 32 mm.

That project is a useful example of how a crawler screening plant can become part of a complete crushing and screening system.

Road Construction

Road projects often need different aggregate sizes and carefully controlled material grading.

SP2065SE can be used after crushing to classify material for road base, sub-base and other infrastructure applications.

The crawler design is also useful when the working location changes during construction.

Recycling

Construction and demolition recycling is another practical application.

After concrete, masonry or other suitable material has been processed to the required feed size, the screening plant can separate the material into useful fractions.

Recycling sites also benefit from mobile equipment because the material source can change from one project to another.

The exact process still depends on the incoming material. Metal, wood, plastic and other unwanted materials should be removed using suitable upstream or downstream equipment where necessary.

Infrastructure Projects

Large infrastructure projects often require a lot of aggregate close to the construction area.

Instead of transporting every tonne of raw material to a distant stationary plant, a mobile crushing and screening line can sometimes be established closer to the worksite.

The economic result depends on the project distance, local transport costs, material source and site conditions, so I always recommend calculating the complete cost rather than assuming mobile equipment automatically saves money.

6. Real SP2065SE Applications Published by Sunward

One of the strongest ways to understand a machine is to look at where it has actually been used.

Sunward currently lists SP2065SE in several published project cases, including a manganese ore crushing project in South Africa and a weathered granite project in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

ProjectRaw MaterialFeed SizeFinal ProductsPublished Capacity
South Africa Manganese Ore ProjectManganese ore≤700 mm before crushing0–4 mm, 4–8 mm, 8–32 mm, >32 mm200 t/h
Qinghai-Tibet Plateau ProjectWeathered granite600 mm before crushing0–10 mm, 10–20 mm120–150 t/h

Source: Sunward PSR published project cases. The listed feed sizes above refer to the complete crushing and screening projects, not the 150 mm maximum feed specification of the SP2065SE screening stage itself.

That distinction is important.

In the South Africa project, SP2065SE was combined with SP127JE and SP300CE. The raw material could therefore enter the complete line at a much larger size before being reduced by the crushers. The screening plant itself has a listed maximum feed size of 150 mm.

The Qinghai-Tibet project used SP1213ITD together with SP2065SE and achieved a published capacity of 120–150 t/h for weathered granite.

I like these examples because they show how the screening plant fits into a real production chain.

The screen is not working alone just because it is a crawler machine.

In many larger projects, the crusher reduces the material first, the screen separates it, and conveyors move each fraction to the correct stockpile.

7. How I Would Select an SP2065SE for a Real Project

If you are considering an SP2065SE crawler screening plant for sale, I would prepare the following information before asking for a quotation.

Material Type

Start with the raw material.

Is it limestone, granite, basalt, manganese ore, recycled concrete, construction waste, river stone or something else?

Different materials have different hardness, moisture and particle shapes.

Maximum Feed Size

SP2065SE has a listed maximum feed size of 150 mm.

If your raw material is larger than this, you should normally consider a crushing stage before the screen.

This is exactly how the published South Africa and Qinghai-Tibet projects were configured: crushers handled the larger feed, and SP2065SE handled the subsequent screening process.

Required Capacity

Tell us the real target.

Do you need 150 t/h, 200 t/h, 300 t/h or 400 t/h?

Also tell us whether this is your average target or peak target.

It is better to design around a realistic production requirement than to choose equipment based only on the highest number printed on a brochure.

Final Product Sizes

This is probably the most important information after the raw material.

If you need 0–5 mm, 5–10 mm and 10–20 mm, the screen arrangement will be different from a project requiring 0–20 mm, 20–40 mm and 40–60 mm.

Tell us the desired product sizes and we can then discuss the appropriate screen media.

Power Supply

Because SP2065SE is an electric model, the project needs a suitable power arrangement.

If the site already has reliable electricity, direct electric operation can be convenient. For a complete mobile crushing and screening line, the total power demand of all equipment should be calculated together.

Sunward also publishes compatible generator configurations for mobile production lines using SP2065SE.

Site Conditions

Tell us whether the machine will work in a quarry, mine, recycling yard, road project or another location.

Also consider slope, climate, dust, rainfall, available space and transportation access.

The SP2065SE specification lists a maximum climbing angle of 20°, but the actual site layout should still be assessed before deployment.

8. Why Work With Ganglong for Equipment Supply?

At Ganglong Heavy Industry Technology (Hefei) Co., Ltd., we understand that buying a mobile screening plant is not just about choosing a model number.

The machine needs to reach the customer, arrive in usable condition, include the correct documents and accessories, and fit the customer's production plan.

Our company was founded in 2013. Together with Hefei Ganglong International Trade Co., Ltd., we operate across construction machinery, mining machinery, agricultural machinery and related equipment.

For international customers, our trade team has experience serving markets across Asia, Africa, America and other regions.

Equipment Communication

We can first review the customer's material, capacity and application requirements.

For an SP2065SE project, we normally want to understand the complete process rather than only the screening stage.

If crushing is needed before screening, that should be considered from the beginning.

Order and Production Coordination

Production time depends on the model, configuration, order quantity and customization requirements.

Instead of giving every customer the same delivery promise, we confirm the schedule according to the actual order and production arrangement.

Pre-Shipment Inspection

Before shipment, equipment can be checked according to the agreed order requirements.

Our general inspection focus includes appearance, main functions, hydraulic systems, electrical systems and basic operating performance.

Standard documents and accessories are prepared according to the order requirements.

International Transportation

For complete mobile screening plants, sea transportation is normally suitable for international delivery.

Suitable spare parts and accessories can be transported by air or express when the package size, weight and delivery urgency make those methods practical.

The SP2065SE official specification lists transportation dimensions of approximately 15,580 × 3,980 × 3,820 mm. The working dimensions are approximately 15,160 × 13,430 × 6,170 mm.

These figures are important when planning port handling, road transportation after arrival and final site access.

Packing

Heavy machinery needs secure fixing during transportation.

Machines are generally protected with film and fixed securely according to shipping requirements. Spare parts and loose accessories can be packed separately in suitable cartons or wooden cases.

The final packing method depends on the destination, route and customer requirements.

Payment

International machinery orders commonly use T/T payment arrangements, such as a deposit before production and the balance before shipment. Specific payment terms should be confirmed between both parties for each order.

Conclusion: Choosing a Screening Plant Starts With the Material

After looking at the SP2065SE from the practical side, I would describe it as a high-capacity mobile screening plant for customers who need multi-size material classification without building a permanent screening station.

The machine combines a three-deck 2000 × 6500 mm screen box, 180–450 t/h processing capacity, 150 mm maximum feed size, 36.7 t total weight, electric drive, crawler mobility and hydraulic travel control.

Its strongest role is not simply “screening.” It is becoming part of a complete material-processing process.

A crusher can reduce large rocks.

The SP2065SE can then separate the crushed material into different sizes.

Conveyors can move each fraction to the correct stockpile.

And because the whole setup can be mobile, the production line can be adapted to changing jobsite conditions.

The published South Africa manganese ore project is a good example of this approach. SP127JE, SP300CE and SP2065SE were used together to process manganese ore and produce several final material sizes.

At the same time, I would not recommend choosing SP2065SE simply because its rated capacity reaches 450 t/h.

If your project only needs a small amount of material, a smaller screening plant may be more sensible. If you need several final product sizes at a high production rate, however, the three-deck configuration and large screen area become much more useful.

That is why I prefer to start with the material and work backward to the machine.

At Ganglong Heavy Industry Technology (Hefei) Co., Ltd., we can support customers with equipment communication, supply coordination, inspection arrangements, documentation, packing and international delivery planning.

If you are looking for an SP2065SE crawler screening plant, electric crawler screening plant, mobile screening plant for aggregate, three-deck screening plant, or crawler screening plant for mining and quarrying, send us your raw material, maximum feed size, required capacity, final product sizes, power conditions and working location.

Those details give us a much better starting point than a machine model alone. Once we understand the actual job, we can look at the screening process, power arrangement, supporting equipment, transportation and delivery requirements together.

Technical note: Product specifications and published application data in this page are based on current Sunward PSR and Sunward official information. Actual capacity, configuration, optional equipment, production schedule, commercial terms and delivery arrangements should be confirmed for the individual project and order.
